Used to get chips from the said Station Cafe, before getting the 41 bus home to Barlanark in the 70’s … stopped going there when the Evening Times printed a story about someone finding a deep fried fag in their chips

  1. I used to go to the Station caff fur a wee cuppa before getting the number whatever it wiz to the Central College Annexe out near Wills factory at Alexandra Parade.

    Nae doubt, but I’m sure even the tea was deep fried.

    Great photos.

  2. I have a vague recollection of Lucifer’s but my (under age) drinking at that time (76-77) was done at the Top of the Town pub which was a ten minute walk from the College annexe.
